The eyelid skin is the thinnest skin of the whole human body and is therefore the first to become wrinkly. Eyelid lifting (upper and/or lower) is most often done under local anaesthetics and takes approx. one hour. The face gains a significantly younger appearance. It is the most common ambulant aesthetic operation.

Duration: The operation takes approx. 30-60 minutes

Anesthesia: Possible under local anaesthetics, recommended in combination with "dozing sleep"

Scars: Inside the upper eye lid fold or underneath the lower eye lid lashes with extra 2-3 mm aside
