Breast Reduction and Uplift
Various surgical methods are available to regulate sagging and oversized breasts. The shape of a breast can by all means be surgically regulated, flabby looking breasts can be reshaped. If a breast is very large, drainages might be necessary. In such cases we recommend remaining stationary at the clinic for 1-3 days. Breast uplift however does not need follow-up treatment with drainages, so it can be done by out-patient-procedure.

Duration: The operation takes 2-3 hours
Anaesthesia: General anaesthesia
Clinic stay: Out-patient-procedure for uplift; in case of more complicated breast reductions we recommend to remain stationary at the clinic for up to three days; a tight bra should be worn for four to six weeks.
Scars: The O-method (based on Benelli) will leave scars around the nipple corona; the I-method will leave an additional prolongation underneath the nipple corona; the L-method will leave an angle-shaped alteration, the T-method will leave an upside-down "T" in shape of an anchor.
Socially presentable: Office work can be continued in a week after the operation, in case of uplift any heavy tasks or physical activities should be avoided for at least 5-6 weeks
